Hi there, I’m Hannah – owner of Spud Pup!

I’ve been grooming for about 10 years now, and over time, I realized there were a lot of things about the traditional grooming environment that just didn’t sit right with me. I’ve always believed that dogs deserve to feel safe, respected, and cared for—not anxious or overwhelmed.

That’s why I started Spud Pup. Going mobile has completely changed the way I groom. It lets me give each dog my full attention in a quiet, comfortable space without the noise and chaos of a salon. I focus on building trust with every pup, so they actually enjoy their spa days (or at least tolerate them with a wagging tail).

I don’t use muzzles unless absolutely necessary, and I’ll never force a dog through something they’re clearly not okay with. Sure, that might mean a not-so-perfect haircut once in a while or sending someone to the vet for nails—but that’s okay with me. I care way more about your dog leaving happy than looking flawless.

Some of my favorite things to work on are creative grooming, Asian fusion styles, and (of course) doodles. And honestly, I’d love to see more breed-standard cuts make a comeback!

When I’m not grooming, I’m usually out hiking with my three dogs, playing video games, or hanging out with my niece. I love what I do, and I feel really lucky to make a difference in both your life and your pup’s.
